Hi Shri, I am Deepak, I am having lot of Quires about Study of MS for my career. I had complected my B.tech(EEE) in 2010, and also M.tech(EEE) in 2014, had after completing M.tech i had searched for job on IT field at that time i am get a lot of interest that study of MS(CS) in US. So, now I am preparing for GRE/IELTS, for Jan/feb 2016 and also preparing for NETWORKING (CCNA) certification.

Will you please suggest me that is a right way or not and which specialization is to take? If it’s ok, will i get a job after completion of MS?

Answer from Admin:

Firstly, if you have decided to pursue MS in USA, then the first step is to prepare for GRE and TOEFL/IELTS. Concentrate and practice a lot of questions and get a score of 310 and above in GRE and 100 and above in TOEFL/ 7 and above in IELTS to get into a good University for Computer Science. You must know that Computer Science is the most applied program by Indian Students and hence there would be a intense competition to get into a good Univ. So score as high as possible in GRE/IELTS.

Secondly, decide whether you want to pursue MS in CS or any specialization in CS. After that start looking for the Universities and their coursework. Go through it and create a list of Universities that you liked and wish to go. Once that gets over start preparing your SOP. Since you have done MTech and have work experience, enlighten it and express the reason you want to pursue Masters and why you decided to change your branch. Get good LOR’s from professors and Managers.

Thirdly, the job prospects depends on which University you are pursuing your MS. If you pursue from a good University, the job prospects are very good.

Finally, apply and await for their reply. Then you start the process of F-1 Visa and other things that you would come to know once you get an admit. Note that good Universities have deadline in between November 2015 and Jan 2016. So apply accordingly.

I hope I solved your query.
